This Thornbury townhouse full scope interior design project included the design of a new kitchen to replace a disfunctional and old kitchen. Japanese tiles and green cabinetry are a feature of this kitchen design.

New furniture and soft furnishings, along with lighting design, was included in the brief for this full scope interior design project. The contemporary townhouse in inner north Melbourne was designed by Melbourne interior designer Meredith Lee.

The bathroom and dressing room we designed in Fitzroy is a joyful expression of our clients’ personalities. They are entertainers who are colourful, passionate and kind people. Their home, shared with their rescue cats, brings together Victorian heritage with a 1980s architecturally designed extension. Our role was to redesign several small rooms that were dark and pokey, into a more functional combined bathroom/laundry space. The spa bath was a ‘must have’. In addition, their current wardrobe in their bedroom was too impractical for their needs, so they wanted us to turn an adjoining spare bedroom into a sizeable dressing room, that would accommodate their daily wardrobe, as well as getting ready for their performances.

Pink, aqua and purple are colours they both love, and had already been incorporated into their existing decor, so we used those colours as the starting point and went from there.

This luxury apartment was furnished by interior decorator Meredith Lee. Furniture, artwork, lighting and decorative items were all part of our client brief. Custom joinery was also designed for a new bar area and coffee station next to the kitchen area. Colour plays a large role in the success of this Melbourne apartment decoration scheme and styling.
